My sisters and I always struggled to find high quality traditional clothes at a good price for family occasions. Family weddings, events or just going as a group to a show - we wanted to look like our own stylish team.  Our children were also frustrated.  They did not want to dress the same, they wanted to be unique, so we decided to fill the gap in the market.  Thanks to our wonderful children and a little frustration, Little Lord & Lady was born.

Was it an accident? Probably not. Clothing manufacture was in our blood – our father had a long career in textiles and our grandmother is an accomplished seamstress.  One of our favourite smells was the lambswool oil on my father’s jacket when he came home from work!  Our own commercial experience in the textiles industry and business gave us a good grounding for our exciting adventure. 

We have been lucky to find some amazing people to build our team.  We have two British designers, one for each Little Lord and Little Lady, who are specialists in their field.  Our Design Director is the powerhouse behind our quirky and unique styles and she can often be found at our trade shows helping buyers build collections that suit their customers. Our Graphic Designer and all around great creative, styles our photoshoots for the website and lookbooks. She prepares all our marketing and generally keeps us organised.

So, this is how we started and now we export to Europe, USA, China and Australia, as well as catering for our home UK market. We hope you love our collections as much as we do!
